If you haven’t heard, Colorado is currently experiencing an unprecedented real estate boom. Demand for new housing and accommodations are at an all-time high, with construction being almost as ubiquitous as Colorado’s picturesque scenery.
The city of Fraser and nearby Winter Park have been meeting this new demand in real estate by developing new amenities and housing to handle this hot market. Winter Park has its own share of recent developments, including:
Arrow at WP
The Arrow community consists of 3 - 4 bedroom townhomes with attached garages and rooftop decks.
Attainable Housing
The Town of Winter Park owns several pieces of property that are earmarked for attainable housing development in the future. The Town is also actively working with developers and private property owners to ensure that they have an adequate supply of attainable housing to meet all needs across all demographics.
Another complex holds 28 two-bedroom units and 10 one-bedroom units that were rented based on a lottery of qualified applicants.
Fireside Market & Eatery
Winter Park’s grocery store officially opened in November 2017. In addition to groceries, they offer a juice/coffee bar, salad bar, burrito bar, pizza by the slice, grilled cheese bar, an ice cream sandwich bar, and even a cozy area to enjoy lunch.

Additionally, the town of Winter Park has proposed a number of other updates, including:
Burying electric lines between Miller Road and Rendezvous Way in the summer 2018
Winter Park’s Town, Resort and Grand Foundation announced its Neighbors to Neighbors challenge grant program to provide $250,000 in matching funds for affordable housing.
The Sitzmark workforce housing project has closed as of November 2017, adding 38 units to Winter Park. Investors are invited to invest in $5,000 increments through RBC Wealth Management
An additional workforce housing project is currently in design that will focus on short-term workers. This project will include up to 100 beds on vacant land behind the King’s Crossing Center.
The Town Council of Winter Park secured naming rights for the new stage in Hideaway Park (now renamed Rendezvous Events Center), which secures $3.5 million in funding for both the park and a 15-year leaseback for the current Visitor Center/Chamber of Commerce that will be remodeled.
