This time change has been a bear, but I have to say that taking the kids out for a bike ride at 5:30 yesterday as the sun was still high in the sky and temperatures were hovering near 50 degrees, I was absolutely loving the extra daylight. The kids were excited to have actual tennis shoes and fleeces instead of the usual coats, hats and boots and were shocked when I told them dinner was ready at 6:30 because to them it was still light outside and there's no way it's dinner time already. Well, you've got to enjoy it while it lasts around here...
We barely could open our eyes this morning - it was so dark when the alarms started going off signaling it's time to get ready for school. Grab your tennis shoes and fleeces, wear shorts, move, move! HALT....there's about 4 inches of fresh snow on the ground and the temperature is hovering around 20 degrees, not supposed to get much warmer today. Great. Just when we were getting used to seeing the clear driveway!
That's Colorado for you. I suspect it'll be like this for another month or two. It'll be hard to deal with, but we'll get through. Afterall, the ski resort is open until April 20th. We'll likely get some great powder days in. The tubing hill at the base is open until April 13th. There's Springtopia concerts and events planned from now until closing day. Did you know at the Village at Winter Park, you can still enjoy their Disco Skate Nights, Free Guided Mountain Tours, Snowcat Tours, Dinner at Sunspot and one of our favorites - Kids Night Out?
So, be it 50 and sunny or 30 and snowy, you can still get out there and play and take advantage of all the Winter Park and Fraser Valley has to offer! Enjoy!

"As late blooming, first time local home buyers Jean was beyond incredible to work with. Her patience, knowledge and attentiveness were awesome. This was a tough market and we feel like Jean was so on top of things and went above and beyond to help us find the perfect house for us. We can easily understand why we had multiple friends recommend her, we will as well."
