It’s April and that means we’re nearing the close of yet another wonderful ski season. Winter Parkhas received over 200 inches of snow and the Spring Meltdown has begun! Join in on the fun during closing weekend with the Winter Park Springtopia April 20-21st with FREE concerts, $49 lift tickets, the spring splash and more celebrations. This year’s music will feature Julian Marley & The Uprising (yes, that’s Bob Marley’s son) on Saturday afternoon as well as Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe closing us out on Sunday afternoon at the Winter Park Base.
Plenty of giveaways and fun is also to be had at Sunday’s Spring Splash. The race begins at 12 noon as spectators watch skiers and riders struggle through obstacles on the Larry Sale trail race course and attempt to skim across an icy pond to reach the finish line and post a time.
