Good news for cyclist and residents of Winter Park: Ride the Rockies (RTR) has just announced that Winter Park will be includedon its Colorado-wide tour. This 6-day tour, currently on its 33rd tour, will be including Winter Park, CO as one of its stops along this 418-mile ride through Colorado’s most popular mountain towns. One of the many heart pumping events to be held in Colorado, the RTR tour begins on June 10th, with the loop encompassing the towns Breckenridge, Edwards, Steamboat Springs, Grand Lake, Winter Park (Day 5 & Day 6), and finishing up back at Breckenridge. With the average ride between 50 – 70 miles a day, this is a great opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts!
Considering the 2018 Loop Route is close to the I-70 corridor, visiting towns along the route is more accessible to riders on and off the bike. Riders who stop in Winter Park, CO can explore the town for some much-needed R&R, but also view Winter Park area's appealing real estate offerings. This isn’t the first RTR to grace Winter Park, as previously held in the town in 2014. With a significant turnout in the past, this year’s RTR is sure to be a spectacle.
More about Ride the Rockies
Since 1986, the Ride the Rockies cycling tour has been bringing not only a non-competitive spirit, but also a chance to spread wealth around Colorado.

Since the program officially began in 2001, over $585,000 has been granted to towns throughout the state via its philanthropic effort to help support nonprofit agencies that work to improve the lives of Coloradans in the towns hosting Ride the Rockies. Why Listing Photos MatterThey say a picture is worth a thousand words-
"The property we were buying ended up being right in the middle of the East Troublesome Fire and so there was a long period that we didn't know if the deal was still going to be able to go through much less if the house survived or if we even still wanted the place. But with a lot of perseverance Angela was able to get us over the finish line. And we are super happy with the purchase.
Thanks Angela and Sue!"
