These holidays and ski season in snowy, beautiful Winter Park, Colorado are magical. We have had almost 2 feet of snow in the last 7 days and over 125 inches so far this year and it’s only December! The skiing is fantastic and the town is dressed for the holidays. There is no better place to be than the Rocky Mountains in Colorado for the holidays.
Some “not to be missed” activities to do with your family are:
Christmas Eve – Torchlight Parade and Ski Down at the Winter Park Resort
New Year’s Eve – Torchlight Parade and Ski Down at the Winter Park Resort along with a New Year’s Even Blues Show at Smokin’ Mo’s Featuring Sammy Mayfield and Mr. Wonderful
January 23rd – 3rd Annual Stagecoach Classic at the Devil’s Thumb Ranch and Resort
January 30th – Mary Jane’s 40th Birthday Bash – this is going to be a hoot. Mary Jane was a handful, her 40th birthday will be nothing short of spectacular!
February 14th – Cupid’s Revenge - Timed 4 mile snowshoe race through the old Idlewild Ski Area in downtown Winter Park
March 19th – Winter Park Wipeout – Combination adventure race and scavenger hunt – open to anyone aged 7 and up. It starts at the town park in downtown Winter Park and is truly a blast!
