I've been amazed at the colors here in Winter Park and Fraser this fall. We've had such an unexpected Indian Summer, then it got cold and we saw snow on Byers Peak and the Divide for about a week. The temperatures dropped each evening, we layered up in the morning and leaves did start to fall. I went away for a long weekend to California, sad to leave because I knew upon my return that the aspen leaves would all be gone, snow might be blanketing the ground and surely it wouldn't get up above 45 degrees during the days. Boy, was I mistaken! Thankfully! Here we are, the first full week of October and yes this morning was chilly, but the sun is out, the sky is blue and on my morning trail run, this is what I saw. Full Aspen trees lined the trails in Granby Ranch and around the Vasquez Wilderness. It's now a balmy 60 degrees out. I can't imagine this will last long. I encourage you on the front range (you know who you are), to take a drive this week. If not this week, head up this weekend. The weather will be amazing - the perfect weather for driving the Winter Park/Fraser valley and scouting for your winter condo, or for your 2nd home on some acreage, or maybe you just want a parcel of land so you can build at your leisure. Either way, come visit us and experience the fall beauty that's all around us. To view a list of properties that are available, click here. I'm often asked how I get paid as a Buyer's Agent and how that works.&
"We enjoyed working with Lihla Clancy when she found a property for us in Granby that we ultimately purchased. We asked her to list for sale our former residence (also in Granby). For the purchase, she found a condo that met our needs, but as we made an offer, it was put under contract with an alternative offer. Having learned about what we wanted, she quickly noted a listing coming on the market and without delay contacted us with a walk-through video and narration she made. We bought it site unseen…perfect! For the following condo sale, she gave us options on pricing, and composed photos and a description which resulted in multiple same-day offers, and a higher sale price than the listing…perfect! We highly recommend Lihla and Real Estate of Winter Park to both buyers and sellers in Grand County. Sonia and Richard Clime"
