Coming soon to the Winter Park/Fraser Valley and in the heart of Winter Park, the new transit center should be open very early February. Great news for visitors and locals alike as this area off Vasquez Road adjacent to the Cooper Creek Complex has had an over-haul. Construction began this summer to include a bus turn around and drop off/pick up, Big Trout Brewing Company and local Granby based coffee shop, Lion Head Coffee. The area will serve as a hub for the Lift buses, as well as a place to purchase Amtrak tickets.
Outdoor seating, a bike wash station in the summer and covered parking round out the perks of this new addition in downtown Winter Park. I personally can’t wait – It’ll be convenient for my kids to take the bus from a day of skiing and riding at Winter Park Resort and have a place to hang out and wait for me as I always seem to be running, oh, a few minutes behind! It’ll serve as a gathering spot in the morning as you wait for your Lift to the ski area while sipping coffee, and again in the afternoon as you enjoy your après beer and snacks that you earned after a full day of activity both winter and summer.
This past Tuesday, the Winter Park Town Council even approved a snowmelt system for the adjacent sidewalks. Big Trout Brewing hopes to start brewing beer next month with an opening date of mid-March and Lion Head Coffee too projects a mid-March open. Just in time for oh, the Spring Break crowds!

"Elle is exactly the kind of person I want to work with in a real estate transaction. She is knowledgeable, organized, and professional. When my family purchased a condo in Winter Park, Elle responded quickly to all of our questions and she worked proactively to ensure a smooth process. I would not hesitate to recommend Elle to a friend and she will be the first person I call the next time I buy or sell property in Grand County."
