Not Quite Finding That Perfect Single Family Home In The Winter Park Area

Then, vacant land may be the best option for you and now is the time to buy!  Prices may not get any better than they are now as I suspect we will steadily see an upswing in this market.  Why do you ask?   

First, more and more buyers must think outside of the box when considering a single-family home purchase regardless of their price range.  For example, I have clients whose maximum budget is $600,000.  One would assume that their perfect match is out there.  As I write this blog, there are about 16 homes to choose from that fit their basic desires such as minimum number of bedrooms, baths, finished square footage and acreage, but not one of the homes is the right fit.  An additional investment of between $50,000 and $100,000 is needed to “make the home theirs”.

Second, a year over year analysis thus far for 2015 shows a 20% increase in Winter park area vacant land sales. During this same time period from 2013 to 2014, the vacant land sales were flat.  This is a huge jump!  When you compare all vacant lands sales from 2013 to 2014 we saw a 17% increase.

Listed at $209,000, 525 Moose Run Lane in Fraser is a great option if you’d like to be spoiled with national forest trail access in your neighborhood and wish to be centrally located, but desire privacy.  Not to mention those views!
